Flea markety goodness
It'd be nice to go to a flea market where not everything is treated (and priced) like an antique - like the ones I remember as a kid. Somebody said "one man's junk is another man's treasure", and all of a sudden, everyone's junk is treasure.
Still, though, if you look hard enough (and have strange taste in treasure), you find things. Interesting things. Like HOW magazines from the 80s. If you've never looked at 20 year old design books and magazines, you really should (assuming you have an interest at all in this sort of thing). It not only made me appreciate the ease of which we can do things these days (what with computers and all), but it reminded me that I don't have to use a computer all the time. My pencil still works, maybe even better.
That being said, I've been doing too many of these sketches in Photoshop.
